#WorkHappy 101: EXPERT PRODUCT BY PRODUCT EXPERTS, & HOW POPPIN PROVES THAT PASSION AT WORK, WORKS

Poppin is undoubtedly one of my favorite brands that we carry at The Container Store. From the very beginning of my adventures at TCS (AKA The Container Store, FYI) all of the Poppin products stood out to me, and they continue to impress our fabulous customers every single day. Alas, I think it's fairly important to let others know when something good is out there in the world; hence the following compilation of various Poppin photos, products, posts, and press releases that have caught my attention, as well as the two cents (seventeen, to be exact, in honor of every product color Poppin offers) of this Poppin fangirl scattered in between.

And so, at #1 -- Why am I taking the time to create an entire post dedicated to 'ole Poppin, one might ask? No, I'm not some sketchball showing favoritism towards one TCS vendor over another, nor some creep obsessive over pricey painted plastic, just a product user and brand fan on both a personal and professional level. More importantly, everything about 'em has a purpose! A good purpose! A happy purpose! From the plastic in the product to the passion in the people.

#2 -- Their good and happy purpose+people+product combination works really, really well, and it appeals to me and my generation more-so than any others. Google 'em to check out their expansion since an '09 birth if you're still skeptical by the end of this sentence/paragraph/entire post. (And by "others" I mean Poppin's competitors, or any of the TCS competitors, for that matter, that may or may not implement more of the so-called "traditional" corporate structure, mission, and/or workplace culture.)

#3 -- Poppin product is high-quality product, and the humans behind the quality product are of even higher quality. Or so it appears. The Poppin employee LinkedIn profile pics are pretty suh-weet, I must say. Their profiles bleed of professional pride like many of ours from TCS! #YesPlease

#4 -- In my book, any brand operating by the words of Steve Martin is a trusted brand.

#5 -- They have what it takes when it comes to social media. Other brands, take notice. Poppin's Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn are always top-notch.

#6 -- It's true. And it's why I use Poppin's product, work for The Container Store, and love my job at The Container Store. Us 20-somethings may like technology, but we like our people even more.

#7 -- Love Dolly's song but the working 9-to-5 is not a thing of mine either. I like to think that the modern and sleek, and always purposeful aesthetics of every Poppin product allow them to be pleasing whether I'm working hard or hardly working.

#8 -- At TCS, we like family. And collections are a good thing. So, yes, I absolutely like products that if used either solo or as part of a family will remain quintessential, like my customers.

#9 -- Heck yes The Container Store made (and continues to make!) room for them!

#10 -- TCS is an organization empire. Poppin is a color empire. We're two empire peas in a massively organized and colorful pod.

#11 -- They like color. Color is good. Roy G Biv is basically their mascot, and Jeff Miller is a smart dude.

#12 -- #WorkHappy is the good kind of viral copy, folks.
#13 -- The above plastic bags are filled with air & used for packing in Poppin's boxes sent to retailers like us at The Container Store. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoy getting to open the Poppin boxes for re-stocking of product, mainly so I can place the "nice digs!" and "see you in the supply closet" in various coworkers' lockers because #WorkHappy, of course.

#14 -- Yes it does. For any of you Wednesday Addams nay-sayers, I challenge you and your eyes to come visit me at the TCS and give Poppin a try. (See that horrible rhyme I did there?)

#15 -- Brick-and-mortar FTW! This is another fact. Poppin needs The Container Store (literally and figuratively) and we need Poppin. It's a PR win-win for all.
#16 -- From $3.99 to $129.00, white to black, tiny to large, there's something Poppin for every budget and body at the TCS. And obvi for those living outside of the good 'ole U S of A, there's Poppin.com for you guys.

#17 -- My birthday is on the 17th of May, therefore if you already bought my Christmas present but are out of ideas for next spring, there's always Poppin, so you're welcome.
